Tens of thousands took to the streets across France on Saturday in another wave of demonstrations over rising living costs and government policies.

Police used tear gas in several cities, including Lyon and Toulouse, while dozens of arrests were reported. Meanwhile, youth-led protests spread across more than 30 German cities, with demonstrators opposing compulsory military service and demanding increased public spending.
