MTL-YID: After skipping last week's Canada-EU summit in Montreal over being denied a speaking slot, Quebec Premier Paul St-Pierre Plamondon is now agreeing to meet Mark Carney, but on one condition: the meeting has to be in Quebec City.
In a social media post Sunday, he accepted Carney's invitation to meet before the upcoming Francophonie summit in Cambodia and thanked him for his "change in tone."
Carney says he wants the two governments to agree on common goals before the summit. A meeting date has not been announced.
