Gov. DeSantis Urges Republicans To Vote In Droves This Tuesday

Governor Ron DeSantis is calling on every Republican in Florida to turn out in big numbers on Tuesday.

He says Democrats won the final day of in-person early voting by about 15,000 ballots, mostly in blue-leaning counties. Most red counties did not count mail ballots that day, and the current statewide edge sits at roughly R+134,000.

“We’ve done so much in the great state of Florida. We’ve led the nation on so many things. We got to keep that momentum going,” DeSantis said.

“I’m asking you to vote for Republicans up and down the ballot.”

He is also pushing a yes vote on Amendment 3, which would raise the homestead exemption on non-school property taxes to $150,000 in 2027 and $250,000 in 2028. “Vote yes on Amendment 3 to lower your property taxes. Do not give the Democrats an inch. If they get an inch, they’ll take a mile.”

“We don’t want to end up like California. We don’t want to end up like Illinois. We’ve got to keep the momentum going. Please vote Republican on Tuesday.”

Polls close Tuesday night.
