Iranian military officials are warning that another confrontation with the United States and Israel could be longer and broader than the previous conflict, as Washington continues reviewing possible additional strikes.

Tehran says it is preparing for retaliation if new attacks are launched. The warnings come as Iranian representatives continue diplomatic discussions through Qatari mediators and American military forces remain deployed across the region.
