Middle East: Iran’s supreme leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, has reportedly ordered the country’s armed forces to prepare an immediate response without geographical limits to any renewed American or Israeli attacks.

According to a statement released today, Khamenei instructed military commanders to update their list of potential targets to include US and Israeli assets.

The warning comes amid growing fears of renewed fighting, with reports suggesting Washington could launch further strikes following Tuesday’s US midterm elections.

Meanwhile, diplomatic efforts are continuing through Qatar in an attempt to prevent another escalation.
