✈️ HERO PILOTS WHO SAVED FLYDUBAI FLIGHT IDENTIFIED: The two pilots who safely landed a damaged Flydubai passenger jet in Saudi Arabia following a September 30 terrorist attack have been identified as Henson Steven of Fiji and Rowan Tooth of South Africa, according to Ynet. Both were aboard the Dubai-to-Tel Aviv flight to operate its return journey when Omani co-pilot Hamam al-Hammami attacked Captain Smit Machchhar with an axe, seriously injuring him. Israeli passengers and crew restrained the terrorist, allowing the two pilots to take control and land the aircraft safely in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. All three pilots received one of the UAE’s highest civilian honors on October 27 for their bravery.
