Marathon Sunday: What's Closed on Staten Island and When

The Verrazzano Bridge will be closed to all traffic tomorrow, Sunday, November 1, from 7 a.m. until about 3 to 4 p.m. for the NYC Marathon. The bridge's upper level closes tonight at 11 p.m.

Streets around Fort Wadsworth will be closed from about 5 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Bay Street and Lily Pond Avenue exits close at 3 a.m. On the Staten Island Expressway, Exit 14 (Narrows Rd N / Hylan Blvd) is open until 7 a.m.; after 7 a.m., vehicles must exit at Clove Road.
