CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT FILED AGAINST EL AL

A request for a class-action lawsuit exceeding ₪2.5 million has been filed against El Al following its decision to transfer Tel Aviv–Prague flights to its subsidiary Sun d’Or, effective November 15.

Passengers claim the change was made without their consent, involving a terminal change from Terminal 3 to Terminal 1 and different service conditions. Some passengers also claim they were asked to pay $190 per ticket to cancel.

El Al says it has not yet received the lawsuit and will respond through the courts.
