"Our Values Are Not for Sale": Rockland Rabbinic Leaders Endorse Lawler, Blakeman and Weber🔥

ROCKLAND COUNTY, NY — "Our values are not for sale, and our community's future must never be reduced to a funding decision." With that declaration, leading rabbinical leaders in Rockland County issued a joint letter October 29 endorsing Congressman Mike Lawler, Bruce Blakeman for Governor and State Senator Bill Weber.

Calling voting "a mitzvah, a chiyuv, and a responsibility," the rabbanim urge every eligible voter to vote early or on Election Day, November 3, and not to overlook three 14-year judicial seats.

The rabbanim reject judging candidates by the grants they promise, insisting instead on their policies, the leadership they empower, and the consequences for the community's children.

The letter warns that a veto-proof Democratic supermajority and the rising influence of the Democratic Socialists of America threaten religious freedom, parental rights, yeshiva education and public safety. The endorsed candidates, it says, have stood firmly against antisemitism, supported Israel's security, and delivered through action, not promises.
