On Friday morning, October 30, around 2 AM, Antwerp police stopped a motorhome on Belgiëlei after noticing it repeatedly driving through the Jewish quarter, decorated with pro-Palestinian propaganda. 👇
Four men were administratively arrested for disturbing public order.
One was Palestinian activist Omar Almaani, a Norwegian citizen, who says he was simply following his GPS while travelling through Europe to raise awareness about Gaza.
The motorhome remains impounded. Almaani maintains that he did nothing wrong and that there is no ban on driving through the neighbourhood.
