David Jolly Called Out On Fox Over Past Criticism Of Party Switchers

David Jolly was pressed during a Fox News interview about comments he made years ago attacking Charlie Crist for switching parties.

In the clip, Jolly said the problem in politics isn’t people who change, it’s people who won’t change. The interviewer immediately pointed out that Jolly previously hammered Crist for doing the same thing and said at the time that you cannot trust somebody like that.

Jolly is the former Pinellas County Republican congressman now running as a Democrat for Florida governor against Byron Donalds. He left the GOP in 2018, spent years as an independent, and registered as a Democrat last year to run for the office.

The exchange is circulating widely just days before the November 3 election. Jolly has repeatedly faced questions about his party switch and shifts on issues including abortion and immigration.
