Rep. Haley Stevens, the Democrat defeated in the Michigan primary for Senate, is conditioning her continued backing for Abdul El-Sayed on his condemning an antisemitic ad from an ally blaming the price of groceries on Israel “killing Palestinians.” Stevens, who is scheduled to campaign with El-Sayed on Sunday, said he needs to apologize for his own rhetoric throughout the campaign.
