A massive accident involving multiple cars on The Route 6 tonight left multiple patients injured, some in critical condition.

A wrong-way driver may have been involved. Ambulances from KJ Hatzolah, Monroe EMS and Woodbury EMS treated patients, and a medical helicopter was launched, landing at the Monroe-Woodbury school with Monroe and Woodbury Fire Departments securing the landing zone. Woodbury Police, Woodbury FD, State Police and Tuxedo Police also responded, and Tuxedo Police closed the Route 6.
