A 19-year-old suffered multiple contusions & minor injuries after being struck in the head by a tire that came loose from a moving pickup truck. Despite the force of the impact, which required initial treatment from municipal personnel & subsequent transfer to a medical center, the injured man is recovering and out of danger.
