A total of 325 people were arrested at Saturday's Palestine Action protest outside the US embassy in Nine Elms, police said on Sunday.

The figure rose from the provisional tally of 139 reported during the demonstration. Of those arrested, 320 were held on suspicion of expressing support for a proscribed organisation under the Terrorism Act, the Met said.
