Qatar Continues Mediation as Direct U.S.–Iran Talks Remain Uncertain

Qatari mediators led by Ali Al-Thawadi are continuing discussions with Iran's deputy foreign minister in Doha while maintaining contact with the White House.

No agreement has been reached to resume direct U.S.–Iran negotiations, and no date has been set for an American delegation to visit Doha.

Iran's Tasnim news agency confirmed an Iranian delegation's visit to Qatar but denied that direct talks with the United States were planned.
